Oh man, this weekend was so not work-related at all guys. It was great.

Saturday I:

- Went to the Saturday knitting group that [info]saturna and I organized, which was a super success and the folks at Cloud City were great to us and noone seemed annoyed when we kept expanding our surface area. I'm so, so happy abou this one.

- Enjoyed time with Nomi involving dropping things off at Value Village and then picking up new junk at amazing prices. My apartment feels cleaner and more energized now that I've purged the old tv and clothes that had been hanging around far too long. Then to PCC and buying dinner ingredients and kombucha.  G.T's Kombucha is delicious. I had the kind with juice and the plain raw and I thoroughly enjoyed both. It makes me feel tingly and alive in my cells. I picked up a small jar that's perfect for making a little batch at the VV.

Sunday I:

- Had another fit of cleaning up wherein I purged my giant accidental and embarassing collection of plastic shopping bags. They have been offered to the recycling gods, and now my pantry cupboard has a whole bunch of room to put my blender in so it's not on my counter taking up space with it's accessories. The accessories are in a pasta pot insert.

- Went to lunch with [info]verysmallcat at Beth's which was delightful as always and where I learned that my work friend's husband owes him a CD.
(Special to Todd: He's working on it now! It'll be ready soon-ish!)

-
Went to the big Goodwill in south Seattle and picked up gobs of books for $0.69 each which should have been $2.00 each, 2 DVD's, and a brand-new recent model Oster food steamer with all of it's bits in perfect working order for $10. FIND!!! Now I can steam potatoes instead of frying them and make rice that doesn't turn out horrible and all sorts of possibilities abound now for healthier eating. Awesome.
